Scansano is located in the Province of Grosseto. The country has medieval origins where were found the archaeological Etruscan-Roman period. Scansano is situated on a hill and extends to medium-low hills shares.
Famous for its red wine, Morellino di Scansano, celebrated the end of every September with the Grape Festival.
